Dream Dictionary (A Random Page)

Using the random page Google tool I stumbled upon the dream dictionary. Next time you wonder what your subconscious tried to tell you, you can get some quasi-scientific inspiration from this web site by looking up the thing you dreamt of. Let’s see what’s in store for you if you dream of email:

“Dreaming about email indicates that you need to reach out to people who may not necessarily always physically be around. It could also very well mean that you have been spending too much time in front of the computer and this has carried over into your dreams.”

Or to paraphrase the Sigmund Freud quip (which you probably heard in one of its many incarnations), “Manchmal ist eine Zigarre auch nur eine Zigarre”... sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

The site also contains a normal dictionary. Here’s what it has to say on Google:

“The “Google” spelling is also used in “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams, in which one of Deep Thought’s designers asks, “And are you not,” said Fook, leaning anxiously foward, “a greater analyst than the Googleplex Star Thinker in the Seventh Galaxy of Light and Ingenuity which can calculate the trajectory of every single dust particle throughout a five-week Dangrabad Beta sand blizzard?"”
