Yahoo Images Adult Content

Yahoo has a major problem with its image search: it’s full of unrelated adult content even with SafeSearch on. Here are example queries which yield adult content as first or second image (“adult” being scantily clad ladies, mostly): bored, blog, blogs, weblog, google, black, milk, woman, beach. This is just an arbitrary list, but as soon as you want to work with Yahoo image search – like when you use the Yahoo API to create public tools – you will notice this is a deep-running problem. Will Yahoo ever manage to fix it? Google Images shows it’s possible.
