Anti-Google Domains

Gary Price points to a variety of new Anti-Google domains.

Guess-the-Google

Guess-the-Google is a very nice looking Flash-based quiz with the same idea like my Image Quiz (you are presented an image search result and need to guess the query which was searched for). I asked the creator of the game, Grant Robinson, if he knew about my Image Quiz – it turns out he didn’t see it until the very end of his own project when someone pointed it out to him.

Google Satellite Maps

Yet another Google Maps Satellite related site (there’s quite a few of them lately): GoogleSatelliteMaps.com. [Thanks Gary Price.]

Hommingberger Gepardenforelle at Ebay

You can now buy a “Hommingberger Gepardenforelle” (the nonsense phrase for the German Search Engine Optimization contest) at Ebay. [Thanks Judith L.]

Yahoo My Web

Yahoo launched My Web, a personalized search competing with Google’s new My Search History service. With Yahoo’s My Web, You can share your bookmarks with others – and there’s an API to automatically grab this data.
