John Battelle (author of Searchblog, as well as the upcoming book on Google titled The Search), writes on “The Birth of Google” over at Wired.
“Larry thought Sergey was arrogant. Sergey thought Larry was obnoxious. But their obsession with backlinks just might be the start of something big.”
The new Internet Explorer has been released as Beta to MSDN subscribers, the official IEBlog reports. I’m curious if this is will turn out to be more than a marketing move to counter the rising popularity of Firefox – or if there are some actual improvements to the rendering engine. And will MS simply manage to catch-up to developments of the last years, or release something that’s ahead of its time?
