FindForward Custom Search

At my FindForward “uber engine”, you could always provide your own parameter “css” to link to any stylesheet. Now, you can also create completely customized new search types for your own site. Just use the search type “custom” (the GET parameter “t=custom”), plus the two following parameters:

Here’s an HTML example of a site search which is implemented using custom_query=site:fawny.org. You could also add natural words to any query, e.g. “(cats | feline)” to make a “cat specific” search. Then as a webmaster/ blogger you can insert the HTML in your template to let users search using your custom search type.
