A Google Linux Distribution?

The Register writes, “Google has confirmed it is working on a desktop linux project called Goobuntu” (the name being a mix of Google and Ubuntu). I’ll be waiting for confirmation from Google first.

Ludwik Trammer in the forum says he’s been using Ubuntu for a couple of months now and that it’s a really great OS. “Very well done, both for geeks and beginners.”

[Thanks Ludwik.]

Update: Google told me, “We use Ubuntu internally but have no plans to distribute it outside of the company.”
