Net King for a Day

If you could be internet king for a day, which laws would you create?

Here’s one of mine: you are not allowed to park a domain only to offer it for sale.

Google Blog Japan, Korea

In case you haven’t seen them yet, here are the official Google Blogs for Japan and Korea. [Thanks New Google Blog.]

Massively Multiplayer Pong

How does the wisdom of crowds perform in a game of Pong? You can find out in this Flash game where apparently, everyone’s mouse position – identified by wobbling orange and blue spheres – determines the actual paddle position for one of the sides.

On a side-note, another creative way to play Pong is to use your voice. I had the chance to play this game on the PS2 SingStar: a high pitch moves the paddle upwards, and a low pitch downwards.

[Thanks Miel.]

Google Relcontent?

Garett Rogers noticed that Google added "/relcontent” to their robots.txt file... which could mean there’s a new service around the corner. [Thanks Manoj N.]

New Chinese Top-Level Domains

Is China attempting to create its own internet? (Does any reader from China see this already?)
