Blogger’s Anti-Spam Tactics

Google’s Blogger announces that they are fighting splogs by using an automatic spam classifier, saying the number of “false positives” is very low. Blogs that make it onto the blacklist will then show Captchas to the blog owner with instructions on how to contact support (the issue is then resolved within a day, Google says). For a small portion of blacklisted blogs, content may also be completely removed to make place for “users instead of spammers.”
