Wii vs WWII

The Google News spelling checker didn’t yet catch up on Nintendo’s new game controller console Wii. If you search for Wii, Google suggests Wwii (for “World War II”).

Google Maps 3D Interface

On the Google Maps Shortcut application, you can rotate a (Shockwave-powered) 3D globe to the left side, and double-click any location to load it on Google Maps to the right side. An interesting proof of concept.
