Digg Reduction Usability Test

When it comes to easy interfaces, less is more... every word in the interface needs to be either understood or ignored, both of which takes time (and interfaces shouldn’t waste our time; if anything, content should). I did the reduction usability test for Digg.com by removing every word or element from the site which I don’t need or use (of course, this is highly subjective):

With Digg, a lot of elements survive, meaning the site is quite uncluttered as is – still, there’s a bit of redundancy left.

Also see the previous reduction tests.
