How Google Appears in Other Countries

This little tool allows you to see how Google looks like in other countries. You can perform a search for two countries to then see the results on a split-screen. You can also leave the search box empty to see the country’s Google homepage.

The site comes in handy because accessing e.g. Google.com in Germany will not show you Google.com as it appears in the US (there’s sometimes subtle differences between versions in different countries, like special links, or holiday logos).

Note the tool didn’t always work here; in particular, I had problems accessing Google China.
