Guess Who’s More Famous

At Famousr, your objective is simple: click on the one celebrity you think is more famous and you’ll score points! Gwyneth Paltrow, for example, is more famous than Shirley MacLaine, according to the game. Ted, the author of the site tells me, “For my initial rankings, I queried Google for each name to get the rough number of appearances for each actor. This was one of the data points I used to establish an actor’s ’notability’.” Now, the data behind the site is shaped by your clicks as well, making this one of those games (like 20 questions) that gets better the more people play it.
