3) Darkness is not a thing, it is the absense of light. Just as cold doesn't exist, it's an absense of heat.
4) A black box does not remain undamaged (just) because of the material it's built with – it's how it is engineered.

Maybe – but heat is the result of atoms moving more quickly – so cold is a lack of speed. Light is the presense of light waves / photons, so darkness is the lack of photons. You can't measure darkness or cold, you can only measure the absense of light or heat :) |

In dark the photons are present , they are not movable because of no external excitation. somebody has to excite photons , so they move higher energy level releasing a bit of energy, other grabs the energy excites and goes on. |
