I noticed the "Powered by Google" text is gone from the silver image below the Videos, Channnels etc. bar. Also At the bottom it no longer reads "©Google" as it once did

I'm still getting "Powered by Google", are you using the Greasemonky Script that makes it look like the (old) Google Video?

Martin is right. It is not available on any of the localized versions of YouTube but it is on the United States version. The search box is also in the top right hand corner of the page rather than in the gray bar under the navigation buttons as seen on the United States version.
