I like Jeff's idea – a 3D Google globe!
Preferably with a feature to zoom in to the scale where one inch = one inch.

I flew JetBlue last week. On the way to Boston, it was like MapQuest, but on the way back… Google! I really liked having television in the seats, it makes the flight go faster and you don't have to run down your laptop battery (assuming you can find something to watch).

I think it would definitely be cool if you could zoom around and explore the place you were going to before getting there. That way you could plan what you were going to do while on the plan. Not sure if this would require 3D or not.
