Daniel, the links and some of the stars are from the StumbleUpon extension for Firefox. Sorry, I should have switched off the extension before I took the screenshot.
I can't take a replacement screenshot right now, because I'm no longer getting the Google Video ad at the top. |
Hashim, maybe the page seems ugly compared to the plain ten blue links we had before. But I think many people will find the "busy" pages more compelling.
All that visual content on the left might reduce the visibility of the ads on the right. How long before we see images there too? |

If video ads are substituted for text ads, they better not auto play on page load. Sites like Forbes.com do that with videos and it annoys me to no end. |
