How long has Google had Linux and Microsoft related search? This is the first time I've ever stumbled upon either of these pages. The Microsoft search page actually highlights the word "Microsoft" in all of the snippets that appear on the search results page. But the Linux version doesn't seem to do that. Why no Mac version??

No Mac search page. |
Gee.. These are really old man |
Strange. I've never seen these until today. |
You still have this page though : google.com/mac |
David, that just redirects google.com/mac.html , the applications page for Google programs on the Mac OS. |
Yeah, i know. I didn't mean it's a search page. I was just telling you Google didn't forsaken Mac :) |
Thanks, Ionut. It appears the Mac search page disappeared in Nov 2006 to become the current mac.html version.
Would love to see them create an application page for Linux and Microsoft just like they have done with the Mac applications. |

Gotta love the logo on the BSD search. "Don't be evil" indeed!
Colin: the Mac page does have a "Search Mac Sites" box above the downloads. |

You can still search Mac pages, the search box is at the top of the page. |
google.com/firefox (also old, just for completeness) |
Is there any reason why http://www.google.com/win redirects to Adwords? |
Mrrix32, I noticed that too last night. |
"google.com/gmm/ vs google.com/glm/ ?"
The latter is from when the product was called Google Local (Google Local Mobile -> glm). It was then renamed to Google Maps. |
