"The Whole Industry Is Disappointed With Windows Vista" http://blog.wired.com/monkeybites/2007/07/acer-president-.html
I hope this is the beginning of linux notebook available models jump |
I'm not sure about the whole industry, by I could run for months without rebooting XP or it crashing. Since moving to Vista a couple months back, I've had two bluescreens and several crashes as well as a myriad of annoyances (User Account Control, "Scan this disk for errors", Windows Defender updates through Windows Update (meaning it slows the system down when checking for updates -> Microsoft know about the bug and have released a patch that "fixes" the issue).
Vista sucks, but because of the way the world works. It will be forced upon us all in good time unless you switch to Mac or Linux. |
When people ask me if Vista is good, I answer : "The good thing is that no software crash on Windows Vista. But you can't install a lot of software on that OS..."
I read on digg that thanks to Vista, sells of Windows XP are increasing :) |

According to Google, mainly the Microsoft Zune. Although I think they fixed the bugs eventually.
