Google and Apple have quite a close relationship at the moment, and thus such a deal would make sense for both companies.
Apple has announced that it will be performing maintenance tomorrow on its .Mac service as the company is set to host a "Mac-only event" (see macrumors.com/2007/08/06/mac-u ...).
Gmail Apps is currently set up for Mac.com, see www.google.com/a/mac.com/Servi ... for a login page. I have tried this address in the past but to no avail, but it now seems to present a login page. |
