Why Google, how very naughty of you. Besides, Yahoo made EXTREMELY clear that Yahoo Photos users have a happier home waiting for them on Flickr.

Infact Yahoo! gave them a lot of choice in an email which did not include picasaweb for some reason. This is probably why google did this

Surely due to the lack of market share. Perhaps Google should have kept it in Beta for a bit longer, so they could use it as an excuse.

There were a lot of photo sites that expressed interest in a direct transfer of pictures from Yahoo, but Yahoo choose to pick and work with only 5 or whatever the number was. I am sure Yahoo had their reasons for picking the sites they did. I doubt it was market share.
