3 new functions in Spreadsheets with a cool one that uses Google Sets to auto fill data in cells, another pretty good to import data from allmost every (web) data format and one useless to sum numbers...

I seems that Google mades a mistake in their snapshoot (you can see the bug here : http://docs.google.com/support/spreadsheets/bin/answer.py?answer=75509&hl=en)

Oh! Seems like there are some problems with international characters when using the importHTML functions. Try to use the previous spreadsheet to translate from english (en) to japanese (ja).

Google spreadsheets is a work in progress. It is not as good as Excel. Though with the autofill and the options for locale it is getting better.

MagicFill is still mostly broken here today.
I enter

   ibm
   google
   microsoft

and it returns...

   ibm
   google
   microsoft
   design
   webdesign
   ajax
   css
   tools
   software

No desert for Google Spreadsheets! Google Sets is much better than this, even though it's supposed to be the data source.

'the functions for importing are called importRSS, importHTML and importData, but googleReader instead of the more obvious “importFeed”'

The GoogleReader function still is recognized, but in the help and the function reference it has been replaced by identically(?) working ImportFeed (sic).

ImportRSS is not recognized as a function by Google Spreadsheets, but ImportXML is.

The GoogleGeoCode function that appeared for a short time (as a function name only) in the function reference is not recognized by Google SPreadsheets. It was never recognized b.t.w. but was described by the short description GoogleGeocode(location, latOrLng) which makes one wonder what arguments this function should use.
