Also when you change your current password.
Since last month: googlified.com/2007google-a-lo ...

You just have to hate how Firefox only checks spelling on textareas (by default)?

My account was affected. I normally have a password that has 7 characters but made up of capitals, lowercase, numbers and symbols. It would take quite a while for anyone to guess my password, so I don't see the need for 8 characters.

Glad I don't have to change my less-than-6-character password!

I hate having to think up long complicated things that are easy to remember and I keep forgetting how to spell "Raxacoricofallapatorius" :D

I meant "less-than-8" I don't think Gmail has ever let you have less than 6 :D
