Microsiervos (a spanish geek blog) posts a picture of one of the Tele Atlas vans in Barcelona. The picture was taken last saturday. They speculate about it being used to take pictures for Street View Europe.

TeleAtlas just uses those vans to update their maps that they are selling too different parties. This is certainly not (only) for Google...

Perhaps Teleatlas will sell their data to Google.
