I wouldn't rely on that data because I don't know how Techmeme decides when a post is worthwhile. I bet AP or Business Week have more interesting posts than my blog.
I also wouldn't compare it with Technorati which only ranks blogs (in a very stupid fashion, by counting the number of backlinks). Techmeme's ranking also includes old media. Other differences are that Techmeme is only restricted to tech news and the ranking is only for the last 30 days. |
Techmeme also only ranks technology relates sites, if I understand correctly, whereas Technorati ranked every topic. |
