Yahoo! Creative Ad Development Center uses a tool AKME to find which keyword is popular,their Content writers use this tool to get the highest ranking keyword for the relevant ads that they are creating for their customers.

My Question is how this tool gets the keyword ranking for keywords typed in the tool?

Are they querying google to get the keywords which has high ranking?

Normally people mostly use yahoo search . most users use google for search .only google has good statistical data on keywords!! and users end up in exact landing page.

How yahoo tries to place the ads on the landing page.
