this is what happens when the profit center of your company (adsense/adwords) literally runs itself.. but you have 5k employees sitting around doing nothing all day.

Yet they still a company that's worth over 170B dollars, and one of the most successful companies in the world.

They even got a "lego artist" (yes they exist it seems) to make a Google logo for them with legos. I saw it on a blog a few months ago there are some pictures on his web site http://www.seankenney.com/portfolio/google/
