Yahoo has a view option "Unread", so you can see all the unreads... does Gmail have a way to do this?
|
well you could "archive" mail you've read and "star" the things you want to get back to. (It's what I do, although I do have a few very important things always at the bottom of my Inbox) |
Sorry, as soon as I hit Submit I realised how to do it Just type the below in to the search box: is:unread |
Even better, type "is:unread" (without the quotes) into the search bar. If you only want unread inbox items, you can type "is:unread label:inbox" instead. |
I find it weird Google doesn't have a default navigation entry for this, or something else more intuitive... I was also looking for this before. |
There's a Greasemonkey script for saved searches that includes this one in the default list: http://blog.persistent.info/2005/03/adding-persistent-searches-to-gmail.html |
