It seems that Picasa Web Album is testing with new homepage layouts and probably they are using AdWord Website Optimizer to track the performance. :P

New Layouts: http://bp0.blogger.com/_E0dlF4_71TI/RxBwpxbLlMI/AAAAAAAACzQ/V4jVEhuzmOI/s1600-h/picasa-new-1.png "Easy uploads; See Pictures Faster; 1GB free storage*; Integrate with Picasa" *Note the inconsistence of capitalization, it's so roughly made

Which one (or the old one) is better? Any good suggestions for better tagline, e.g. Flickr sucks ? |
number 3 looks more like Gmail |
I can see it too..
And i agree with James :) |
One significant different between #3 and Gmail is that there is no storage counter :P |
Strange Though; "Each account gets 1GB (and counting!) of free storage – that's enough to post and share around 4,000 standard resolution photos"
And counting?

Also notice that the " New Features " link is gone now, and instead there's a link to their latest Photos blog. |
Yeah... One of the shortest "New Features" ever for Google! |
The "Google" name seems to be more prominent now. It looks like they're gradually shifting towards it being a feature of an overall product (i.e. rather than being Picasa Web Albums, it's Photo Sharing from Google). |
They should link to some sample albums. |
