Google is now available with reduced address in china : g.cn

I thought this was around for a while...

Well, was it active ? Because now it works.

The official Google China Blog only acknowledged it until recently:

Have you noticied that google.cn doesn't redirect anymore to google.com?

Would this be the shortest domain ever? I mean how can you get a domain less than 3 characters? g.cn

He means the "g" part. And I think it depends on who controls the TLD, Verisign control the .com's, Nominet .uks etc.

My favourite type of domain names are ones like dontclick.it or u.tv

There is already google.it :P

I guess I mean the dot as the 4th char. (Good thing I don't get paid by the h[um]our.)
