Google Gears is good first step towards something greater.

I like the iPhone usability from the videos I saw (never tried it so far). I like Friendfeeds.com, perhaps it's not revolutionary (I suppose there's other sites like it) but I ended up using it every other day. Then, my personal favorite development (re)discovery was how useful ExplorerCanvas can be :)
