And than lose it once they take it down?
That is an obsurd amount of money to pay for a text link or anything for that matter. I once inquired a PR10 site for a link and was quoted $5000 a month. That still sounds high considering PR8s go for $250 or so.
Also no way to tell if you truely do get a benefit from wordpress OR if it's blocked like phpbb.com was.
