The Incident Response Lead, Google Security Team replied that "We’ve investigated your claim. At this point, all we can verify is that our automated systems terminated your accounts, as a result of your trying to inflate the clicks. This is exactly how the system is supposed to work."

He said: "our *automated* systems terminated your accounts".

Anyway, no system is perfect and I'm sure there are many ways to fool AdSense's click fraud detection.

Thank you Sankar :)

I don't understand this phrase: "This is exactly how the system is supposed to work." That is to say: if I can fraud AdSense, even if they detect it, they will do absolutely nothing, except closing the account after some days/weeks? Strange.

So, if they didn't contacted Google, the magazine (& the guy) should had win big money or they account would had been terminated anyway?
In other words: Has Google detected the fraud before Digit magazine contacted them?
