I was searching for "Abdul Kalam" in Google Images (Former President of India). And on the top there was an entry for "Also try Manmohan Singh" (with Manmohan Singh hyperlinked). Manmohan Singh is the current Prime Minister of India :)

I saw that a few hours ago when searching for "united kingdom" and asked myself the same question. It should be new since I can't find any reference online about it. (there are tons about the "also try" feature on yahoo though)

It's not new. I've had this feature for weeks.
