ComScore company has released new statistics from October.
According to the short coverage of CNN Money
"Google remained the top search engine in October with more than 6.1 billion searches conducted, or 58.5% of the search market.
Reston, Va.-based Comscore said Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) ranked second with 22.9% of the market, followed by Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) Microsoft Sites at 9.7%, Ask Network at 4.7% and Time Warner Inc.'s Time Warner Network (TWC) at 4.2%."

All of the major rating services use different information gathering techniques and they all seem to think their individual methods are the best.
