At the moment Google News Switzerland displays some strange images beside articles with the source Neue Zürcher Zeitung which don't have to do anything with the corresponding article:
http://news.google.ch/news?ned=de_ch&btn=Los
Looking at the image URL surprises me, it looks like this is a Captcha used for comments on the site: http://news.google.ch/news?imgefp=Q_oGWlCQtvoJ&imgurl=www.nzz.ch/Captcha.jpg
This is the strangest mistake on Google News I spotted until now, but there are a lot more like technical articles under politics or articles about Switzerland in the "world" category or vice versa.
How is it in your country, is Google News useful or just a nice gimmick? Do you think the quality will improve when google has access to the sources from the news agencys as they plan? |
Looks like it's fixed. Good catch, Stephan! |
It's sad we don't have working examples to test any more ... :( |
