It's like, did you want to spend all that time in college getting a degree, just to fix bugs in other peoples software?

I can't find the connection between the first sentence to the second one.. :/

The ad, in essence, say fixing broken software is mind numbingly easily if you've got a Degree, so allow us to do it and you can do focus on work that is less menial.
