Yes, BUT WHEN WILL WE HAVE eUROPE??? |
I'm noticing a lot of slow loading images when trying to view Minneapolis Streetview images. |
The 35W bridge is intact in the Minneapolis Streetview images. So they photographed this city prior to August 1st of this year.

Funny, I just saw (yesterday) a Google Camera Car riding around in Jupiter, Florida which is about 10 miles north of West Palm Beach. They are everywhere! |
Looks like the link that provides the code to embed Street Views in your site or blog is now enabled too – guess that makes the version on my site obsolete :) |
Mine too, Callum (http://www.laudontech.com/google-street-view/google-street-view.html). I guess it was just a matter of time until they provided the functionality. I don't mind though. I was getting annoying by haveing to update the SWF build every time! |
Ahh! I live near Boston so now i can see my house on street view! creepy! The picture they have of my house is from when it was getting repainted so half of the house doesn't have paint on it and there's a red van out front from the painters. Also, my mom must have just pulled into the driveway because you can see her brake lights on! |
That wouldn't be very safe internet practice ;) |
Philipp, Any chance that a future update will allow us to post embeddable panoramas in the forum? |
the google latlong blog mentions that you can now have embeddable panoramas in your blog
http://google-latlong.blogspot.com/2007/12/enjoy-holidays-with-new-street-view.html
but for some reason i can't get these to work.
the streetview update also includes a lot of towns and villages surrounding Indianapolis and Boston.
here's the small town of Morgantown, near Indianapolis for example: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=39.371398,-86.266022&spn=0.026209,0.100079&z=14&om=1&layer=c&cbll=39.37125,-86.2621

Maybe a generic way that turns Google Maps permalinks into small embedded maps? That might a good idea... |
