We had the great 1000/1024 debate when it got to 5GB :-) Not sure if anyone won the debate though :-/ |

I don't understand german, anyone can explain me? Anyway, I'll take it as x-mas present, I didn't got anything so it's my best gift. |

Martin Okay, we should settle this by asking Google, "6GB = ? MB". (should have done that in the earlier discussion) http://google.com/search?q=6%20GB%20=%20?%20MB |
James Xuan | 16 years ago # |
HA! My team wins! |
Zim | 16 years ago # |
Thanks hebbet ^^ But we have some celebrations who may push Google to upgrade accounts' size... valentine's day, eastern, international woman's day (?) Who knows! I bet (and I hope) we'll see the 7 around there sooner :) |
James Xuan | 16 years ago # |
They brought new stuff last valentines didn't they... |
Rohit Srivastwa | 16 years ago # |
rather ask it otherwise http://www.google.com/search?q=6064.988525+MB+%3D+%3F+GB&btnG=Search
And yes, I'm still not seeing the holidays page of Gmail, its still the old one for me :/ |

Rohit, I spotted it right away when I logged into Gmail this week. And since I think I've seen the Gmail Holiday page about 2 more times out of about 20 login attempts. |

<<Okay, we should settle this by asking Google, "6GB = ? MB". (should have done that in the earlier discussion)>>
I think I already mentioned that Google chooses the incorrect method probably because the majority of its users are used to that. To be honest, it doesn't bother me that much, I just wish that for once that companies would follow a defined standard.
As for the homepage, It seems to be potluck if you get it. I'm currently in the States though and miss my "Hullo Chaps" homepage... |

Sorry for being late to this debate but...
> ... hopefully there snow spam in your inbox.
Without removing any letters, it could also be read like this:
> ... hopefully there's now spam in your inbox.
Which means something quite different from what they intended. |
TonyB | 16 years ago # |
It's sort of an American slang pronunciation to run the words "is" and "no" together. So they are actually saying "hopefully there is no spam in your inbox."
