Nice find – it kinda stinks that even the tour doesn't work yet.

So Philipp, do you think they're going to have tie-ups with HMOs (for the medical records etc)?

Hmm, the caption over the login fields is back to New Service now instead of the Google Health text in the screenshot.

So impatient to test it? So impatient to test it!?

You people are nuts. We've never had a clear answer as to Google's privacy controls, and now you want to provide the company the most intimate details of your health and any past and current medical programs and treatment.

Yes, I want to give them everything. If they allowed me to I would give them my house. But it is so hard to get in contact with them :(

It's unfortunate that none of these health portals are integrating something like CCR (http://www.emrandhipaa.com/administrator/2006/01/10/continuity-of-care-recordccr-initiative/)
into their systems. Who really wants to manually upload the information that your doctor already has. Not to mention the doctor knows how to enter that information better than we do.

if Google had a "guaranteed secure ultimate delete personal data, leave no trace behind" button i would also give them my every details. But i know they can't guarantee anything like most businesses do, so hopefully someone creates one.

Another over hyped viral launch from Google! Will this really be any different from the other health sites out there (webMD, Yahoo! Health) or will it be another product the media drools over but actually under performs, like Gmail, Gtalk and all the others?

And now the template has been pulled so it looks the same as the usual login pages:

https://www.google.com/accounts/Login?service=health
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=health

(Why do they bother doing that when everyone who's interested has probably seen the screenshots already?)

beussery [PersonRank 10]

shane, it's not really a "problem" in that the service hasn't launched as of this post. Google isn't allowing folks to login and hasn't officially launched "Google Health" yet. :)

Gmail doesn't "underperform." In fact, Gmail works great.

So many search options. Are health consumers aware of the tools available? Hopefully clearly differentiated Ads or even better no ads. Bring it on.

By the way, the Google health logo is different than the one at:

I've got screen shots if anyone wants one just let me know...

Just the login page with the other logo, nothing that special but I thought I'd offer.
