Google Search Engine Rank Slipping

It seems that Google is actually not a top ten ranked "search engine"!

Is Google slipping in relevancy for important keywords, what impact do you think this is having on their business as well as on the market? :)

People no longer make links "search engine" pointing to Google. May that be a reason?

Tom has a nice theory.

Honestly, this was kind of a spoof illustration to show that you can be relevant but if it's not on the page you're not going to rank unless a googlebomb or similar is involved.

Yes, you are both correct but at the same time have you ever noticed that "engine" is not in the page or in the code.

Google.co.uk ranks 18 but also doesn't have "engine" in the code or the page but it's in the description from ODP. In fact it's the first result I see not containing "engine" in the page. Power of ODP at work or other?
