Google offers radio, tv and print ads.

By working with each other, Google can help make it's offerings easier for folks who have no idea what we in SEM do for a living!

I know that Google sell spaces for offline ads, but this partnership could lead to Google "designing" ads for its clients, from scratch, with the help of Publicis. Adword advices about keywords is good, but if Google could help building Ad campaigns and design for its customers, they might be interested into investing more directly through Google.
