Note the second news article listed in this Google Hot Trend result. It says "Ron Paul Wins Florida!", even though he came in a distant fifth. How is this getting into Google's news sources?

Shady news services I guess!
Funny thing is, I see "Ron Paul Wins Big in Florida" just to the left of "Ron Paul Sucks It Hard in Florida".

Google News editors added Jawa Report to their list of news sources to crawl: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=site%3Amypetjawa.mu.nu&btnG=Search
The article in question is this one: http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/190999.php
It seems to include a real report, followed by a short satirical bit they call "Paul bait". I could imagine a couple of possibilities: they use some Google News Sitemap with different title settings (would need to check if that's possible, may well not be); the page changed in the meantime and did have the other title before someone complained, but Google didn't re-index; they are cloaking :)... |
