It is a very well known site, admittedly. I suppose a lot depends on how much submitted photos, registered users, and daily users they have. You can display ads to make money if nothing else.

Well it does a good job of spamming me through Facebook, so most probably, yes.

they had $5M in operational costs with a $2M in gross profit for 2006. So tis seems like a high buy to me..

and for FWIW , its a toronto based company that bought it out. Avidlife.com
