JotSpot: longest delay between buyout and re-launch ever?!

Does anyone know of a longer delay between an internet company being purchased and then re-launched? I can't. I seem to remember Writely being locked for new registrations for about four or five months. JotSpot's been locked to new registrations for about 15 months. I assume this means that the resulting product will be something massive. Either that or it's been given to a single employee to develop in their 20% time... :-)

Or they gave up on it? Or they frooze all the development in the beginning for a undefined time?

It sometimes seems like that, but I understand it is still due to launch some time in the not too distant future.

Given the wait, I'll be disappointed if it doesn't have Gears from the start. Perhaps it'll also be launched in conjunction with GDrive...

It should be released sometime in the near future if you've been reading blog posts.
