Google Search Time

What was the longest time you had to wait until Google performed a search for you? I'm curious because I just noticed a search taking almost 18 seconds. See http://img52.exs.cx/img52/7254/googlesearch.gif . Quite unusual I think, since most of the time the search results appear immediately, in the fraction of a second. How long did you have to wait?

That's funny. 18 seconds are ages in web time. Usually Google shows me fractions of the second, making me wonder why they include this information in the first place.

This 'Print Screen' was taken on 6/Dec/05 and the time at the bottom is EST.

I've had them take minutes before. I'll take a screeny next time but it's usually pretty rare (every couple of months or so)
