Here's a blog posting i wrote today for PCWorld.com about multimedia letters-to-the-editor.

I'm so grateful that free tools like YouTube are available for public expression. Power structures are changing as the public voice rises up to fill the new communications channels.

Well then... you wrote and performed a pastiche of a song about an issue that IYNSHO was misrepresented in print in the New York Times. That you posted to the Internet Archive, then submitted to Digg; later made a spoof movie for YouTube, blogged about it in PCWorld, and now, finally(?), enlightened us, the Blogoscopedisti, of its ethereally virtual existence.

Now what? It seems to me you bypassed whole realms of self-promotional opportunity, entire new and novel vectors of public access just lying there to be enlisted in your quest, waiting to be tapped for yer crusade. Or maybe it's just early days yet in the ongoing "multimedia letter to the editor" saga. Have you considered neon graffitti of the urls in the public restrooms of the Moscone Center, the Ermitage, and at Ayer's Rock in the outback?
