Strangely enough neither of these visual-thesaurii sites deemed it important to post even a demo screendump of their respective "data clouds" in action. Instead, every one of us is apparently expected to download, install and configure the tool first to get a glimpse of its profile (verbal diarrhea?)
Still, visiting the sites wasn't all a waste of time, as the http://visualthesaurus.com contained this concise, for-once-unambiguous acknowledgment of what a pompously-vacuous, sophorific, is the newly-trendy concept of "[data or whatever] cloud" (EMPHASIS MINE):
"[...] We've been thinking about the data cloud in the Lounge these days. 'What data cloud?' you may ask, and well that you should: it's a term relatively new to English and it hasn't yet settled down to a SINGLE FIXED MEANING. The data cloud we've been thinking about is the Big One: the nebulous dataset consisting of all the data that is, in principle, at your fingertips when they are poised above an Internet-connected keyboard. [...]"
