For those who don't know and are developers, Google Health will have an API so we can build our own widgets to monitor our health data.

Which part am I suppose to skip to? I really don't think a Health API would be a good idea, but who knows, that depends on what kind of data one can access with the API.

Haochi: behind the scenes of Google Health starts at 30:31:00 and mention of the future API is at 33:18:00.

Example of widgets:
If you have a Mac or Yahoo Widgets, you can create a monitoring app to check the status of a pending examination or when certain times you are scheduled to take specific medications. Maybe a list of popular doctors (taken from Google's data) for your area or another to rate doctors based on past visitations.
