I don't think it's fair to call this a stitching error. To me, a stitching error is an error introduced by stitching together two images that don't line up properly, perhaps because they were shot at different angles from the aeroplane.

This one is nicely stitched together; it's just that the two parts were filmed at slightly different times so the boats had moved between one part and the next. At most, this is a "stitching artifact" rather than any kind of error.
