Official Italian Google Blog posts about new Google Transit Service. Transit allows you to find directions in Google Maps using public transport. Today only Torino and Firenze are trying this service. Google says:"Italy is the first European country to enjoy this project, Torino and Firenze have taken this opportunity and they choosed to offer to their citizens a very usefull services and easy to use".

New Jersey will get more Google Transit options in 2008. Currently they offer Train transit information but will over bus information later this year.
